Getting Iphone in 3month time or wait?

I currently have my nokia phone contract with O2 (uk) and finishing my contract in 8th December 2009. and im thinking to upgrade my contract to iphone 3gs.

but im just wondering if that is a good choice to make as i heard there may be new updated iphone comming just around the corner. If i were to get iphone in december, do you think i should wait for next iphone update or get it in december?

I was thinknig if whenever the next iphone comes out like in jan or feb with front facing iphone camera, i would rather wait for it.

The way i look at it is, there will always be something better coming around the corner. O2 offered me an early upgrade, from my 3G to the 3GS, this week and i took it. Im super stoked with it. If you worried, might be worthwhile buying a 3G online for +- £200.
