Getting my Apple TV tomorrow, one question.

Ill be getting my apple tv tomorrow.

Im very excited about it.

Now i have one question. I have a big list of movies which i bought from itunes over all the years. Now with 500 movies, it would be nice to have some metadata on the apple tv interface.

Like, in the computers tab, under movies, does it display move information, or just a poster etc?

Cant understand why it cant pull info like the video app does on ipad.

It displays all metadata. Release year, actors, producer, etc.

Yes, it has tagging support and displays the metadata from in iTunes. It's one of the big benefits of the Apple TV over streamers that use DLNA.
