So I got my iphone stolen a couple of months ago. I bought a new one and it now has a new phone number and sim card. Will I be able to install the payed apps on my new iphone?

When I plug it in it asked me if I wanted to set it up as a new iphone or my old iphone, but I don't know if I can since the phone number and sim card are different. I mostly don't want to lose my payed apps.

If you set it up with the old backup, it will not do anything to your phone information (like number and such). What it will do is bring all your contacts, apps, saved game information, et cetera that you had on your old phone, to your new one. Almost beat Chronicles of Inotia before your phone got stolen? Well, restoring from the backup would bring your data for that back. Also, as long as you're on the same Apple ID account, you can redownload any apps you paid for again for free. It will say "You have already purchased this app..." yadda yadda and you won't have to pay for it.

thanks.

So do you know if my recorded voice notes would be saved in the backup as well? That would be fantastic.

Either way, only paid. No luck with anything payed.

I don't know how I let that one slip twice.....
