iPad Getting photo's on your ipad

What's the latest story with not being able to sync photo's onto an iPad? I have albums within folders in my photos app and it's just impossible to get them to sync onto my iPad.

I read all sorts of stories online but am just confused as to why this hasn't been fixed yet the issue is months and months old.

Are you saying you can’t sync photos using iTunes?

Well, on Catalina there's no iTunes to use, it's all done through Finder. You can easily select the albums you want to sync like I used to in iTunes but then when you press Sync nothing happens at all. The little sync icon turns on the iPad screen but then it disappears.

It's a total shambles really.

Right, so did you check if it’s only issues with photos or musics don’t sync either?!

Music sync's just fine. Just photo's don't sync, but only if they are albums within folders. Albums NOT in folders sync ok.

I've found others online with this issue on the Apple support community, looks like an ongoing issue for months now but no resolution is forthcoming

I have yes, about 4 days ago but no reply yet.

I use the FileExplorer app to synch photos from my laptop to my iPad via iTunes. The issue with iTunes not correctly synching photos to the Photos app isn’t new.
