Getting rid of folders in Safari bookmarks??

So I had my phone set up to sync with my Safari bookmarks then I changed it not to because I dont use those sites on my phone......I cant figure out how to delete the Bookmarks Bar and Bookmarks Menu folders in the Bookmarks on my 3g? Kind of annoying because I have to scroll past them to see the pages I've bookmarked from the phones browser.

You can't (as far as I know) and it's annoying.

When you go into the bookmarks on the iPhone through the bookmark icon in Safari isn't there an edit button that you can click that lets you delete the folder?

I don't think it allows you to alter the folders on the phone.

I believe the only way is to do it on your computer and then re-sync. (Or just wait a minute, if you use a .Me account.)

I just checked again. When I'm in Safari I click on the bookmark's icon at the bottom. On the next screen there is an edit button, when I select that it let's delete bookmarks or folders. Only the ones I added get the delete icon.
