Gotta love such helpful comments as that :p

Anyway, what method of unlocking did you use? And I assume you're on 1.0.2? I'm on T-Mobile and unlocked using the first GUI'd version of iUnlock. I get the bubble whenever I've got voicemail, and it's just like that one with no number. Goes away when I clear my voicemail. I assume you've tried that...

you should be able to find the .png file for the bubble in the UIkit folder. Just replace it with a blank .png you can make with photoshop . I dont remember the exact directory to get there, but if you have it unshackled it shouldnt take you that long to find it through just looking around.

Thanks, it was because I had a voicemail. It's always the simple things :).

That bubble is used across the board in Mail, SMS, ToDoList, Installer, etc. If you replace it for phone you wont see it anywhere else.
