iPhone Getting SHSH blobs from Cydia?

Hi,

Background is... I was using Cyberduck to change an icon skin this morning on my jailbroken iPhone 4s. My daughter toddles across to my Macbook and whacks a keyboard key while I am in private/var/root. I thought she had done nothing sinister and came out of there after changing the icon. I went into Winterboard and did a respring.

My phone would not come out of safe mode after the respring so I did a re-boot. My phone kept coming up in safe mode and I kept rebooting.

Now all I get is the apple logo.....

No worries (thinks I), I have my SHSH blobs saved on TinyUmbrella.... NOPE, nothing there despite saving them in the past but not for a good while I admit.

Is there anyway to get back to safe mode or my phone on or am I looking at a restore and iOS7??

Shsh are useless on a 4S, have been since 6.0

You can try a hard reset and safe-boot (volume-up during boot)

If it boots in safe
mode you can try to remove the app you were exiting(if it is not a stock app)

If that fails you can try iLEX RAT to 'restore' your phone on current firmware to a hust jailbroken state.

If any system files were deleted only a firmware restore 7 will fix it.

I have tried the hard reset but when I turn the phone back on and hold the volume up nothing happens (apple logo and that's it).

How do I use iLEX? Can I not only do that once I have my phone in safe mode and can get into Cydia? Any chance you could walk me through that if I can do it another way...

Try using semirestore (windows and Linux only, I believe)

Or you can try rerunning evasi0n if you don't have a passcode lock
