My Mac Mini, despite having an i5 CPU and 8GB of RAM, can't really handle any 3D-based games.

I'd love to try and use The Sims: Complete Collection, but I know it was made for Macs before the Intel switch. How can I make the game work?

I think you should be able to under Rosetta, if you're still running Snow Leopard. Your fans are going to roar most likely (I think this happened when I tried it). It's not because of the game, it's from the virtualization.

Best way I think would be under Paralles/Fusion/Bootcamp and using a Windows version.

I lost a lot of games switching to Mountain Lion but I think it's worth it. That, and I'm planning on buying a PowerMac G4 for gaming.
