I like the Airpods but the design worries me a bit if they fall out my ear there isn't anything that will save the headphones from falling to the ground.

So i took a look at the new beats that are coming out and i quite like them. They have the same W1 chip as the Airpods and they look really cool and they are magnetized so that when you are not using them they do not get tangled and rest nicely on your neck.

Let me know what you guys think and have any of you owned beats headphones before?

Thanks

I had a pair of beats solo 2 wireless and returned them to best buy after a week. Pure piece of garbage. However I am interested in these and would like to see some reviews when released.

I have basically the same Beats wired. I believe they're the URBeats. I love them and like you will be buying the BeatsX. Just wish I didn't have to keep up with charging another thing!

I honestly don't like beats. My GF has a pair of PowerBeats2 Wireless, I bought a pair as well because she liked them. Ended up returning them after a week. They weren't all that comfortable and the sound wasn't the best. I've been using my Bose earbuds for a few years now and love them. I'm hoping the Bose Soundsport Wireless are good quality and comfortable. I can't seem to find a single pair in-stock anywhere. They are $149, so even cheaper than AirPods.

I will stick with the lightning ear pods for now.

These look great. I just wish they were sweat proof like the power beats.

I had the power beats wireless 2...actually several of them. They are sweat resistant, not proof. I had to return them to be serviced about 4 times before I finally just threw them out. They couldn't handle a good workout. Buttons stopped working and eventually they would stop charging. Couldn't return for credit and I got tired of sending them back in.

I'm hoping that the "3" series do better...I would be cautiously optimistic since this is the first new version of them since Apple acquired Beats.

Wow that's awful. X2's have great reviews like it was mentioned above. May have to try those. I'm not sure how much I want to spend for headphones I'm going to abuse at the gym.

I have the power beats wireless 2, they're decent at best, but disconnect quite often, and when I go to the sauna, can't even wear them. Thinking about trying the beats x if I can sell the power beats lol

Unfortunately for me, X2's just wouldn't stay in my ear. I tried a number of different wireless earphones before settling on Powerbeats2 which fit PERFECT...too bad the product quality was terrible in the end. I currently rely on the Apple earbuds that come stock with all iPhones for my runs and lifting sessions, and they are more secure than anything I have ever worn, with the only downside being the cords getting in the way. That's why I am hoping the AirPods fit the same. Not sure about their sweat resistance though. Time will tell.

They fit me pretty well too. There are actually some wireless headphones on amazon that are very similar to the Apple EarPods. My co worker lifts in them hasn't had any issues. I'll see if I can find a link.

I've done TONS of research on wireless headphones. Sadly Beats don't get a super high rating. I love my Jaybird X2's :)

Hey I recently got them, I feel like the bass is really low? I find them uncomfortable and the black wing things keep coming out of my ear. Are the silicone earbuds better or the foam? Any tips? Also I'm finding that whenever I turn my head one of the earplugs come out.
