Gevey Sim on iOS 4.1 or install iOS 5 semi-teathered jailbreak/unlock?

I'm a t-mobile user with ios 4.1 and baseband 2.10.04... so I HAVE to use gevey sim to unlock my iphone. Should I buy and use gevey sim or just download iOS 5 and use an semi-teathered jailbreak & unlock?

Since your baseband is 2.10.04, you cannot software unlock with ultrasn0w, so you must use a gevey.
The way to get gevey to work on ios 5 is to preserve your baseband while upgrading using snowbreeze.
