Would it be better to get an X1900XT with 1gb RAM or 1-2 7300's with 2gb RAM?

EDIT: why did I even ask that?...sry

From the look of it you might have realized, but the 7300's don't run in SLI mode so there's no point. If you're going to need more graphics power, get the X1900 XT. But that extra GB of RAM would really help too.

Yeah. I was thinking get the XT with 1gb which will be enough for now. In a year or 2 when the price of RAM goes down, I'll get some more.

Doubt the RAM prices will fall too much, sadly, for a variety of complex reasons about the future of FB-DIMM...but you will have time to save up for it. :)
