Applied ghost armor to my iPad today and very pleased so far. The fit is perfect and covers the front back and sides. Aligned up perfect and took less than 5 min to install. I have bben.worried about scratching, but now no fear and carried around house today without protective case. Takes that level of fear out and able to enjoy even more. the feel of the screen is very nice also and almost the same as factory to some extent. Takes smudges away from fingers and helps with glare. I paid 24 bucks and worth the try in my opinion.

FYI when installing tskes about a day to have solution dry. I have used this product on other car parts. Once dry completely clear.

Any pics of it avail?

Will try to get some up later when get home. It's a lot better than that product at best buy. The feel of the screen is solid hard to tell typing on a cover. Zero bubbles

Lifetime warranty as well

I was thinking about getting a protector but on my iPhone they really made the screen feel strange and playing games or doing a lot of swiping seemed to hurt my finger a bit because of the extra friction. Are you experiencing any of these issues with it ?

Not at all. I will post some pics up later also. It's really smooth feeling. Unhave one on my car radio and can hardly tell even in place. Once this completely dries will post more. Even if you put on back and sides your getting more protection than nothing at all.

I was going to attempt to post images of ghost armor installed but can't even see it's on in the photos. I installed on Friday and takes some time to fully cure. As of today no bubbles and absolutely clear!! The solution that is used leaves a haze for couple of days and what appears to be fine bubbles or something. However as product states will dry absolutely clear and it has. You cannot even hardly tell your touching a screen saver and gestures are just as smooth as without. I highly recommend this product. I installed in less than 10 minutes. For 24 bucks the kit comes with full coverage. Piece for the front and back along with sides. Solution and small squeegee . You spray the solution in fine mist onto ghost armor and then couple spray on iPad. Position over the holes (very easy to do just slides in place) then making sure couple more fine mist sprays so that squeegee glides smoothly over armor working your way from middle out. I used a soft cloth on the edges to absorb any excess coming off. That's it and total protection. I have no fear of my friends or kids now accidentally scratching the screen.

Side note---- finger smudges are less and also the glare is less. I can clean with any style cloth that is around wihtout having to worry about having a micro fiber.

Most of all lifetime warranty!!

Saw you mention this in another thread. First I've heard of this company. I'd like to see some pics of it installed on iPad.

On their website I can tell it's installed on the devices there, but it does look good.

Try to post a pic. Areas like around the home button you should be able to tell unless your camera isn't so great.

Finally someone that skipped the Zagg train! I tried Zagg and BSE awhile back and found their skins tacky and definitely not good for touch screen devices. When I got my Pre I did some research and found out about Ghost Armor and PhantomSkinz. I ended up going with PhantomSkinz based on a review vs. Ghost Armor, but both are supposed to have a much smoother finish which is better for touch screens.

Its the same material as invisible shield or rather a rip off of it.

It's the same type of skin, but I would hardly call it a rip off. Some people don't realize that there are other options out there, even better ones to Zagg. Zagg just does more advertising, but from my experience they are hardly the best.

I use my ipad case as well just to carry around and looking to get an uncommon case with my bus advertise on the back. Here couple edge shots of the ghost armor in place. Zagg fealt really cheap IMO and I used this Ghost Armor to protect my radio in my 2010 Camaro. Works great

I have fealt Zaggs and its by no way the same..Zaggs has a spongy feel or something and this ghost armor is smooth like glass IMO

I think they all use the same type of material, but what they do with it is different. I know Phantomskinz applies some sort of "clear coat" to theirs that gives it that clear look and smooth feeling. Ghost Armor probably does something similar.

So none of the sides are protected and it isn't cut large enough to fully cover the back without a border? Based on the photos. Am I mistaken?

Looks great! I was considering Invisi Shield but I like this much better so far. Any tips to a bubble free install?

They have strips that cover the edges and there is a tiny border around the back (but since those edges are elevate there isn't much risk of scratches there anyway)

Ghost Armor kiosks have hit Seattle area malls - I got my iPad and walked 100 feet out of the store, and handed it to the them, they removed the store plastic and applied the GA.

I did remove the GA on the screen after about a week - there is a faint 'orange peel' look to it and considering how I've treated my iPhone I'm not too concerned about scratches, though finger prints are even less noticable on the GA than they are on the native glass.

The very best day to day benefit of Ghost Armor? It makes the iPad far less slick on the back (just as it does with iPhones). I have a bit of nerve damage in my left hand and before getting GA on my iPhone dropped it all the time - not since getting GA - same effect on the iPad. Very secure in the hand, you'd have to physically release it to have it go out of your grasp.

Does anyone know if you can use ghost armor with the apple portfolio case. It's prety tight so I was wondering if anyone has tried it yet ?

Pretty sure you can because you can with the Zagg.

What I can't tell from the site is if $25 gets you both front and back protection.
