OS X Ghost Recon on Intel Mac

I recently came across my old Ghost Recon install disk. This is one of my favorite all-time games, but it appears a universal patch was never created for the game. Anyone have a solution for getting the PowerPC edition to run on an Intel Mac?

I've come across this kind of issue with many of my favourite games being from the PowerPC era. Only way i got around it was to get a hold of the Windows version then use Wineskin to play it. Works with most games of that era but not all and some need a few tweaks.

Might want to watch some YouTube tutorials if you are new to Wine.

I currently use it successfully for Age of Empires 2, and Sim City 3000. So could be a viable option.
