Just as it was 20 for unlimited everything. Can I ask what was bad about it ?I used giffgaff a couple of times on trips to London...the last time being December 2014. It was pretty bad.
I got a SIM from three.co.uk last time. Much better.

Its 6gb then rest is slowed at certain times apparently. Don't see myself using more than the 6gb I would hopethat unlimited is usually capped at a few GB its not all you can eat

Cheers this looks good too thoughPersonally have had a much better experience to Brian.
Have been on GiffGaff for probably 3/4 years now and it's been great.
Currently using the £15 goodybag which gives me 4GB data a month. Never had a problem with network coverage or speed at all (it runs of O2 so use the O2 network checker to see if you would get good coverage). It has been great.
The flexibility of the one month goodybags is a real bonus, letting you swap between them easily and even starting the next one early in the rare case of your goodybag running out of data or something similar. I've never used 3 myself but I believe their prices are somewhat similar.
Summary: Highly recommend GiffGaff! Can't speak much about other networks![]()
Cheers again, I really like the 20 a month option hopefully meaning I wouldn't run out, do I have to top up first?Personally have had a much better experience to Brian.

So I could in theory top up 30 each month and use 20 for goodybag and 10 for mms etc? Do the top ups get lost if they're all not used up ? Wouldn't have minded 25 but my current contracts 42 so 30 is still goodI can't recall exactly the logistics when creating an account, but you can top up to activate your account and then you can either purchase a goodybag from the credit you used to top up, or you can buy the goodybag separately and keep the credit separate.
Then you can have a separate (£10 or so) or credit which you can use for all other costs (e.g. MMS or a like, basically this is hardly used but always a good backup) and then purchase your goodybag and set it recurring. That's my recommendation anyway! Hope that's cleared up anything, any more questions just ask![]()

You wouldn't need to top up £30 every week, if you didn't use up the £10! The top ups don't get lost, no. They just remain on your account and are used for whenever you use them.
For example with me, I pay £15 a month for my goodybag. I topped up an extra £10 on my account for use for MMS etc, and because I rarely ever use anything that costs outside of the goodybag, I still have some of that top up credit left on my account!![]()
Cheers: looking forward to giving it a go. The sim comes with a free £5 as well which I can use for MMS too
Yeah looking to buy the £20 goody bag. Did I read somewhere that you have to be an existing customer for the 20 one or can I as a new customer buy it ?Oh yeah of course!
I'm not even sure who uses MMS these days, with iMessage and WhatsApp the need is almost redundant.
You'd probably be fine just leaving the £5 you get as credit in case you ever need it and buying the goodybags monthly![]()

Cheers, yeah I read it wrong haha. Shouldn't use more than 6, I currently get 10gb with EE and lucky if I use 6 of thatNope that's not true! Just had a look, there is an old £20 goodybag they're getting rid of in January but the £20 goodybag with unlim calls and texts, and 'always on' data is available to new customers!
Not sure if you know already but 'always on' data is unlimited 4G up to 6GB a month, and after that they slow down your internet during the day. Personally I never use more than 4GB a month so that's more than enough anyway - and even if you wanted, you can start your next goodybag earlier if you ran out of the 4G internet.
