Why does Apple say when you buy a gift card that it will arrive within 1 hour when it never does. I’ve had it take 24 hours. If it’s going to take longer I think they should tell the customer. This is a photo of my order status and it’s been like that for the past five hours 🤦‍♂️😂

Is there anyway to give Apple feedback on this?

You can certainly ask them why, but often it is more about, you will get it in an hour if your chosen payment provider confirms the payment will go through.

If I pay on a Credit Card it takes hours.
If I pay using a debit card connected directly to my bank it takes less than an hour.

So probably relates to the time taken for that electronic response between the two.

I used a debit card but perhaps it depends on what bank and everything. I don't think anything is wrong with the wait but my issue is with Apple putting incorrect information on the order status. It would be like if I ordered AirPods and it said arrives in 1-2 days but actually took 10 days. Either is fine but if it takes 1-10 days just say that.

Yeah, I suspect that is where the issue lies, Apple is quoting the minimum time it should take and like you say it would be good if they would at least update it after their quoted 1 hour to say it's not happening yet.

I would be sure that there is no intended human intervention for a gift card, the whole thing being automated unless there is an issue, that is beyond a time delay in processing the payment.
