hey guys.

how do you reckon a new 1.25GHz 15" powerbook connected to a pretty powerful PC over crossover gigabit will handle games over remote desktop?

most good shooters are available for the mac, so that's not the kind of game I'll be playing. I have an xbox for the rest...

I guess the type of games I'll want to play are the adventure games that don't require lots of graphic power... The Longest Journey, Commandos III just to name a couple.

thanks.
Daniel

I doubt the gigabit ethernet connection is going to buy you anything. The problem resides in getting the video signals output at a very high rate, and I don't think the RDC protocol is up to the challenge.

It's just not going to happen. If you want to play games on Windows, you need to be directly on the PC. Remote Desktop, no matter what the network speed, or VPC, just will not cut it.

and commandos 3 is a sweet game dude...i love commandos series....I highly doubt it would work..but if it does,,please post your reply..I would do the same :D
