Gigabyte 5870 in a MacPro3,1

Hi all,,
before I fork out cash for this thing, can anybody confirm if it works in a 2008 Mac Pro3,1 please?

The card may or may not be compatible, but if it is at all, it would need to have its ROM flashed to work, as it is designed for BIOS. If you want a 5870, it would probably be best to stick with the apple version.

Yes,it can work on your mac pro.
But, first step is to flash a mac rom(EFI firmware) to the card.
Then it can run in mac os x.

I have tested it after flashed it.
It worked perfectly.
