Has anybody has issues with their M32U in regards to waking up their Mac?

At times when waking, the display will wake, then jump to the Gibabyte splash screen, then go back to sleep. When I wake again, the display tells me that is has no display port signal. It appears there is an issue when going to the splash screen, and telling the MacBook Air to turn off the display port. It's very odd.

I ever have to reboot the Mac mini/ Mac studio, or lift the lid on the MacBook Air.

I've had it for a little while and used it with a M1 MacBook Air, M1 Mac mini, M1 Max Mac Studio.

All have the same issue.

The Apple Silicon Macs are known to have issues with monitors when waking from sleep, so your situation isn’t unusual. You might want to contact Apple Support so they at least know it’s an issue. The more reports they get, the more likely they are to work on a fix.

I have this issue sometimes. What I find is when the display reboots to the splash screen my Mac thinks the display has been disconnected so locks, which is what is causing the loop.

I am using the USB-C connection between my display and Mac.

I find that once the splash screen disappears, if I blind type my password to unlock the Mac, the display will wake up fine and im good to go. Another thing I found works is to switch to another video signal with active video, wake the Mac with my keyboard and switch back.
