Could I use the Giveback program to trade in my phone and watch 2 days after I order a new Xs and Series 4 watch?

I find out on Sunday if a relative wants to buy my current A1901 256gb iPhone X and Series 2 Watch.

If he doesn't want to buy it, I'd like to use the Giveback program for a refund against the order I place on 9/14 at midnight pacific time.
