Thanks in advance for any help you can lend.

My buddy gave me his kids iPhone. It is disabled for 22,000,000 minutes, lol. I'm sure you've heard of that one. Anyways, I don't have the password, and I can't seem to get it into "dfu" mode or do anything in itunes. All I know about the phone is that it is a 3gs other than that.

Is there anything I can do to get this thing to work? Can I somehow jailbreak it still?

Only thing you can do is dfu restore it.
Keep trying till u get it timed right.
All iPhones restore using dfu mode unless it has a hardware fault.

Ok, thanks, appreciate it.

Guess I'll just keep trying to get it into DFU mode. For some reason I haven't had any success with that. Just keeps going back to the main screen that says "disabled 22,200,000 minutes.

TU can force it into recovery not in DFU

Appreciate the help

I downloaded tinyumbrella but when I start it up and plug in the iphone it's not being recognized. I don't see the device in the left column to select so that the options for forcing into dfu mode come up?

Every iphone can go into dfu unless it has a hardware problem or either the power or home button are not working.
I dont know what else we can help you with.

Yeah, it must be toast. SUCKS!!

Thanks for the help fellas, just sol on this one. Thought I'd got a free b.
