Gizmodo: Widespread AT&T Edge Outage on the East Coast

I know it's a little late, but did anyone experience problems with Edge this morning on the East Coast? I couldn't connect until around 10am. It was really frustrating, almost threw my iPhone across the room. Yet another example of the sacrifices I made to be an iPhone user (came from Verizon).

I still can't get on Edge

I had the same problem this morning, iphone kept telling me it could not activate Edge, even though I was connected to my wifi. Finally called At&t and while very nice, were basically useless trying to troubleshoot. After a 20 minutes on the phone they told me a report was in that Edge was experiencing issues in my area, Boston. So far nothing for me yet.

Same here in the Midwest...been like this all morning.

Some of the midwest is working....I have been in OH and MI today and both have been fine.

this is the second outage in the last couple of weeks. i wish at&t had some sort of online edge network status indicator, like the way .mac shows current status for its various services...
