It is shaped as though it is a 32" HDTV with an Apple TV built in.

It does not look like a Mac Mini, iMac, or Mac Pro.

Having said that, I do not believe that it is anything of any nature related to Apple.

Now looking at this from that way, it does look like a nice size for a HDTV.

I am more excited about the mystery box than I am about the Mini/iMac rumors.

Maybe it's the unboxing necessitating a crowbar that does it for me.:)

the apple remote placed on the front corner could not be accidental.

I didn't know people still shipped electronics in big wooden boxes. I am definitely curious.

Looks pretty huge (that's what she said)!

I find it interesting that it was shipped in a wooden crate. I've ordered iMacs from Apple before and they always arrived in boxes, not crates... Interesting...

It is pretty huge. I like how he put the shoes next to the box for size comparison... maybe a 24" iMac? 30" iMac? 30" cinema display? Oh well I think we'll know tomorrow :D

that's how *new* electronics (mostly displays) are shipped to trade shows

Yep, received goods for trade shows like that myself.

When it's an early publicity machine (of whatever sort) you really don't want it getting damaged in transit!

Also, you don't want someone in a warehouse noticing your new device, whipping out their phone and posting it all over the web a week before the official announcement. ;)

This might not be industry standard, but in Cupertino these individuals are stabbed, frozen, and compacted. :p

Are we serious?... It's a wooden box with a remote!!!! It doesnt mean anything!!!!

That's not mentioned in the article, unless you can read this shipping label (I can't).

"...will make someone to send ninja cyborgs from California to get me killed"

If you can't read between the lines...

And they say it's not a TV, by the way.
