Glaring Issue....

I have been waiting so long for the new imac that I made a quick purchase as soon as the apple store was up and running... I went with the upgraded 24 in model, but now I am having second thoughts about my purchase... I realize the graphics card stinks (But I am mainly a console gamer anyway), but another issue is the glare... I didn't realize until after I made the purchase that it had such a glossy screen... I saw some pictures from the press conference and it looked like a mirror... what is the purpose of a glossy screen? I wasn't planning on having to put this machine in the dark basement. I am not sure what I got myself into... did I waste $2800.00

I would say to wait and see. It's all a matter of personal preference. I thought I was going to hate my glossy screen in my Macbook until I could use it outside of the store at home, and now I prefer glossy. Give it a week. You could always return it.

I didn't realize until after I made the purchase that it had such a glossy screen...

Yuck. Bad move on Apple's part, in my opinion.
