Does anybody know of a good tempered glass screen protector for the watch? I got the spigen flex for it, but don't really like how it installed. The problem with finding a glass protector is that it won't go around the edges of the screen since its curved (kinda like the iPhone 6) any thoughts?

It is very wise to protect your screen, especially if you have the 
Sport Watch. The screen in scratch resistant, not scratch proof. It is wise money to get a screen protector for it. You will also regain your investment when you sell it to upgrade to the next watch.
I plan to use the Zagg screen protector, I do not know if it is glass or not.

Do you wax your car? Paint your house? Stain your deck/porch? Wear a hat/shirt/sun screen in the sun? Then what is so crazy about putting a thin film on a watch screen to protect it from scratches. It really doesn't compare to plastic on furnarure.
I really don't understand why all the anti screen protector people consistently hunt down the threads about screen protectors just to go post about how stupid they are. Leave it alone and move on to something that interests you. The negative talk about screen protectors has gotten old.
To the OP, I have not seen a glass protector yet that would look right on the watch due to the curved edges.
I wear my sport model to work (manual labor) and I think it's inevitable that I'll smash the screen... inevitable. I still have another watch on order that ships late June that I haven't canceled just in case I do destroy mine. If someone made a tempered glass that wrapped around the edges, I would buy it in a heartbeat. I could simply replace it every time I cracked it.
On a related topic, you can actually buy new screens on eBay for $35, but the repair looks intimidating to me. Anytime adhesive is involved, I would never expect my repair to look 100%.

I used to be the kind of guy that would put on a screen protector on every new phone, iPad, even buy full body protection for my devices then one day I stopped and haven't looked back ever since. But IMHO it's just a waste of money. It's just good for business, I've never ever seen cases for watches but now that the apple watch is out, there's all this protective cases and screen protectors for it.
Being that the apple watch is aimed at iPhone users and there's tons of iPhone users that cover their iPhones with hideous cases, companies aim at those customers with their ridiculous protective cases and screen protectors for the watch.
Now don't get me wrong, there are good cases that enhance the product experience, such as apples leather case and covers, but, and I don't think I'm the only one that thinks this, there are so many ugly cases that kill the look of the iPhone, iPad, watch, even MacBooks.
Yes. I like to go naked on all my devices. However, I will admit I have s Smart Cover (not case) on my iPad mini 2 because I like the feel of it when it's folded back, in my hand.
Unless you need a case because you work construction, outdoors, etc... then it's ok. But I see people that work in an office, and have their phone covered in this horrible cases that make the phone look like a brick.
Same goes for watches, do not ruin it's look with those ugly cases... IMHO this is the first smart watch I see that isn't as big as other smart watches (Samsung, Motorola) and doesn't look as a smart watch at a first glance, now with those cases on, the apple watch, looks as big or even bigger than those smart watches.

You don't have work in construction to drop your phone on a solid surface and smash the screen to smithereens. You just have to be a butterfingers.
Or, you know, have one single unfortunate accident.
well, I use apple's leather case on my iphone 6, and I've dropped the phone countless of times, and the phone is still in perfect condition. And if it breaks, then I have applecare+ or ill pay to get it fixed, Im not gonna bother carrying an oversized case that ruins the look of the phone.
But as I said, it is a really good business. I own a few cellphone shops and big part of my business is accessory sales. And trust me, if there was a case for the case or a screen protector for the screen protector, I am 100% sure people will buy it...
My Watch is (currently) caseless, but considering a case has saved my 4S and later my 6+ from severe damage on multiple occasions, I am generally a fan of them, so personally, I vastly prefer this solution to Applecare.
I couldn't give a damn what my phone looks like. I care that it's functional (feeling and seeing scratches on the screen interferes with the function of a visual touch-screen device for me), and in my possession.
The last thing I want is to have to send my device somewhere and be without it for a week or more, wondering if the techs are reading my documents and browsing my photos.
If a $10 case can prevent that, it could look like a baboon's bum and I'm still going to want and use one.
To each his own. You wanna go ahead and use a case that looks like a baboon's bum then go ahead, personally I think most cases are just a ridiculous waste of money. As I said, its good business and companies are making millions of people's paranoia of making sure their phones are overprotected.
Apple spends millions of dollars in R&D, designing beautiful products, then people ruin all that with their horrendous cases, protectors etc...
Also as far as I know, if you take an iphone for repair at the apple store, either they fix it same day or they just exchange it for a working one. I don't think it takes weeks.
As for the watch, IMHO, I would purchase ac+, which isn't expensive, and enjoy the device the way its meant to be.

In general I agree, case do destroy the look Apple creates however that look sometimes leads to poorly designed phones.
iPhone 4 for example, great look but signal crashed if you held it in a normal manner in landscape mode. Also glass to the edge and on back. Ensuring a cracked screen if phone dropped from any height.
iPhone 3GS, 5, and 5S glass edge protected by case material during falls.
iPhone 6 glass at edge of display, so possibility of screen cracking higher. Also terrible nonflush camera, cases fix that problem.
AWS constantly will hit stuff while walking. A screen protector seems like a good investment for $7. Coupled with AC+ for destruction. Best protection available.
Maybe Apple should spend the millions design beautiful products without flaws in the design?
Yes, and this is what attracts a lot of people to the brand-- which is great in my book, since it keeps their bank balance healthy and means they will continue to be around for years to come. Beyond that, I couldn't care less about looks.
I buy Apple products because they are high-quality, and because the integration across the range (phone, tablet, laptop, watch) is pretty hassle-free-- or at least, there's less hassle than there would be with multiple brands and OSs. I also appreciate that Apple's end-users are their primary customers, which is a little different to other companies who rely on advertising and bloatware to off-set their lower prices.
Alas, the nearest Apple store to me is a two-hour train ride to another country, and I'm not sure they have the capacity for on-site repairs there, either.
In my opinion, the way the device was meant to be is whatever way the end user prefers it, but each to his own.
I'm usually anti screen protectors and such. I didn't get my Apple watch yet. While walking down a staircase today though.
I brushed my wrist on a metal hand rail. It didn't damage my current watch as with the bezel the glass is recessed.
I don't know what would have happened if it was directly against the screen of an Apple watch. I don't know.
The watch isn't that fragile. The posts about people breaking them have done some very significant force to it to break them, they just didn't realize it.
I agree, and I use the Leather case on my 6 Plus. I love the way it looks and feels. I tend to very rarely drop my iPhone but when I do it usually isn't that far (maybe three feet) and the Apple Case has been good enough to protect it from that. Really, I have the case for my iPhone because the 6 series is slippery and the camera bulge. I also have had screen protectors on all my devices, you know why? Because when I has my iPod touch (many moons ago, before my iPhone) all it took was one swipe of the sync cable to create a deep enough scratch that showed up on everything I would pull up, and the same thing happened to my very first 15" MBP. If this happens to a glass screen protector, I can replace the protector for $5 no problem. Meanwhile, its an $80 deductible if AppleCare+ will even cover scratches (which I don't believe it does). I also have the same set up on my iPad Air 2 with a Zagg Glass protector and Apple Smart Case.
At least then if I drop the device and it cracked I know that I tried my best to try and keep it protected. I also don't exactly have money to burn either for device replacements left and right, but I envy those that do. I work hard to pay for the devices I own, so I'm not going to go out all willy nilly unprotected, drop it, crack it, then have to pay to get it fixed. Honestly I wouldn't even buy AppleCare+, I'd buy plain old AppleCare if they still sold it for the iPhones and iPads.
Also, why are all of you coming in and trying to say that screen protectors and cases are dumb/idiotic on the posts where people are asking for the best ones? I don't like the cases on the Watch either, but doesn't mean I am going to go into a thread asking which is the best one and say that all cases are dumb. Obviously the OP feels the need to get one so why should they be judged because they want to get one? It's all a matter of personal taste. If you think cases and screen protectors are waste of money created by the man to sell you false security, so be it I am not going to change your minds. Also know though that you are also not going to change the minds of most people as these threads are asking which is the best one, not if they need one. They have already decided they want to get one, they just don't know which.
