Hi there!

I'm a new user from Italy, sorry for my bad English..

I have an 2.4 Alu Macbook but everytime I surf the Apple Store the desire to buy an Air grow, even more with the new reduction of price..

I know the difference of power, USB, RAM ecc...

I have only a question, what about the glass track pad?..

Do you think that in the next rev of the air will be included?..

Working on the unibody I'm an addicted to the fantastic mega-button:D..

Let me know!

thanks!!:)

word is that there is too much technology beneath the glass trackpad (depth-wise) to include it in the Macbook Air.

I have to admit, the glass trackpad is less gimmicky than I initially thought. Very nice indeed.

Personally, I hate the glass trackpad....ok well hate is probably overstating it, "dislike" is more accurate.

Uneven tension, unresponsive, and that god awful loud *click*. Doesn't feel like I expected 'glass' to feel either - not exactly cool and smooth/glossy to the touch.

I'm aware many people feel the opposite, so to answer your question as to whether it'll make it into an MBA anytime soon, I'd say the answer is (unfortunately) yes, much more likely than not. Assuming we see another MBA of course.
