Globally remapping one key combo to another?

I'm getting RSI in my left wrist, and part of that is due to the contortions required to hit Ctrl-C in the terminal (my hands are small enough that it's a stretch with Caps Lock remapped to Ctrl, and a twist reaching the normal Ctrl button).

It would be really nice to be able to do some of this with the right hand.

Is there any utility that will let me remap Opt-C to send Ctrl-C, but leave all other Opt key combos as they are?

Better Touch Tool and create your own shortcut or even a track pad click that will do what you want.
