Gmail 5.0 to support Yahoo, Outlook and ?

Looks like the gmail 5.0 app will let you add in Yahoo and Outlook accounts. We may be able to ditch the stock email app and go with a single solution for all email. Would be great to get MS Exchange support in there too.

I suspect we will see other providers added over time.

Looks like outlook.com and not native Exchange. But still pretty cool.

Looking good.

I wonder if it will recognize mail that is being pulled from gmail (Accounts and Import) and not duplicate it in the combined inbox. I would still need to have gmail check my live and other email so I can get it via a simple browser if need be.

I only use on mail app now and get Hotmail and Gmail both......
It is the stock email app that comes on the Note 4 and GS5.
What Android 5 Gmail app is doing is letting us you the Gmail app for more mailboxes than just Gmail.

I gave up on using stock email app, it's really terrible. I could never get it to work reliably with my yahoo email, it would randomly ask me to reenter my password and tell me it's wrong. I'm using Blue email right now and it does the trick, but I would rather use Gmail to manage all accounts.
