Gmail Connection Issue

Has anyone else recently had an issue where they cannot connect to their gmail via Mail (or other mail client)? Sometime in the last day or two I've lost connection and when trying to test it get error messages such as

"The connection to the server “imap.gmail.com” on port 993 timed out."

No issues through my iOS devices, just my iMac running 10.8.2. I've checked my setting and all seems ok

I've had this before. Sometimes it will go away or I would just delete the account in mail and then re-add it (no problem since its IMAP)...

Thanks. Yeah, I tried deleting the account and then adding it back in but it times out on me. Head scratcher. :banghead:
