Hi guys,

My Gmail account moves through filters some emails in folders and doesn't show them in Inbox. This is the configuration of my account in gmail.com.

I configured my Gmail in my iPad2 like a Microsoft Exchange Mail and the mails in the Inbox are automatically downloaded, synchronized and pushed. The others mails in folders need to be manually downloaded entering in the folder and of course are not pushed. How can I fix the problem? Anybody have an idea?

Second: All the mails of Gmail organized in threads are visualized not like the normal Conversation in Lion. How is possible? Maybe cause I use Gmail?

I would be really grateful if somebody helps me.

Thank you in advance

Cheers,

Alberto

Go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars and select the Gmail account that is set up as Exchange. Above "Delete Account" you should see "Mail Folders to Push". Tap on that and select your desired folders.

Second: All the mails of Gmail organized in threads are visualized not like the normal Conversation in Lion. How is possible? Maybe cause I use Gmail?

Go to Settings, Mail, Contacts, Calendars and scroll down to the "Mail" section. At the bottom should be an on/off toggle labeled "Organize By Thread". Set this to "ON".

I would be really grateful if somebody helps me.

Thank you in advance

Cheers,

Alberto

Hope that helps.

Thank you very much for your answer!

The first problem is resolved: now all the folders are pushed but the icon in mail just how's the number of unread message in the inbox and not the sums of all messages. Do u have any idea why?

Second problem not resolved: maybe is a problem of Gmail..I don't know. The mails are organized in threads but when I click on it it s how's me the message separated from themselves and not like in conversation like in lion. With conversation I mean this: "Conversations presents messages from the same thread in an elegant timeline showing each communication as it was sent while hiding redundant text."can u help me please ? Thank you in advance
