iPhone Gmail notifications not syncing with desktop

Hi all,

If I delete a Gmail message on my iPad or desktop, why doesn't the notification go away on my iPhone lockscreen/notification center?

The notifications are sticky, so you need to manually clear-delete them.

Bah that's what I was afraid of. No way to have them clear automatically like the Mail app does?

You can tweak Gmail app’s notifications in Settings > Notifications. It is quite normal for the lock screen notifications to stay on until you act on them, I believe.
