I have read some earlier reviewed that mentioned gmail regained the push functionality through the native mail app in iOS 11. Can anyone confirm this is still the case now after 10+ betas? thanks

I had read that Apple may have implemented gmail’s push api. SO they now support that alongside activesync, pop, etc. Are you saying this isn’t true or were you not aware of this?Even then it’s not push, it’s just fast pull because the power budget allows it. Again, it’s broken on the Google end. If you’re unhappy with it, tell them.

Apple would have to integrate the Gmail API....
