Gmail with Apple Mail not working

I don`t know what`s wrong with gmail. Whenever I try to forward a mail using gmail website, it forwards the text only. Any photo in the message is left out.
Then I tried to use Apple Mail to see if that solves the problem.
This time I can send the message with the photos but instead of 6 different pics it send any one pic 6 times. I tried it with 5 different messages. But the result is the same everytime.
I generally prefer the website of the email account than Mail/Outlook etc. So if you can tell me a way to forward a message in gmail using a browser than I don`t really care for the Mail.

That's happened to my fiancee a couple of times (most recently yesterday). She uses the Gmail interface in Safari to read her mail, and when she forwards things to me, the pictures don't get forwarded.

Sorry But I have no idea which setting you are asking. Pop smtp settings in Mail or the settings in gmail.

As for which settings, it is probably a good idea to provide them all, that way it is easier and quicker to identify if there is a problem.

Ok. Done that. But still no luck.

Wait.
This problem comes up only when I fwd an email to to someone with www.REDIFFMAIL.com. Which is.by the way, one of the most popular email service in India along with Yahoo.
I can see the forwarded message correctly in Yahoo but not in Rediffmail. What could be the reason?
Heck. Why aint Gmail letting me forward messages with embedded pics from a browser in the first place. I have never used outlook or anything similar in windows or Mac. Find it more easy to use mail from the website only.
Does anybody have an idea what could be wrong with gmail.

This happens to me as well. I get an email from my friends with a photo and when I forward it the next person doesn't get the photos, just the text I went back and reset things as Google said to do but it still happens

I think the standard email addresses for gmail are all username@gmail.com, so my question is, where did you get that email address?

yea, i have gmail and my girlfriend is studying in the UK. there is some patent or TM of gmail there so their addresses are googlemail. If you mail to their username@gmail.com they still get the message, though.

Ah, thanks, I didn't realize that was the case. I'm not sure if this would affect the configuration procedure or not. OP, have you tried it both ways?
