Hi. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice for me on waiting at my local AT&T Store. We have 3 stores in my city selling the iPhone. One of them is very small and is only expecting 30 at the most and 5 people have already lined up. The next one was advertised in the newspaper as being the only one to carry the iPhone, so 30 people are there right now. The last one is my pick and only has 3 people last checked and is expecting anywhere from 30 to 70 phones. My question is should I head to my store now? or wait till around 2-4pm to show up so I don't have to wait as much and still get one.

If they aren't too far away, drive by them and scope them out. Once you see a sizeable line form, hop in line.

Yeah. That what I was thinking. When the line gets to about 10-12ish I'll just jump in and wait it out.

i went by the store closest to my house and there were 3 people in line, so i came to work instead. i'll give a call in an hour or so and see if they'll tell me how big the line is. once it starts getting fairly large i'll go wait. or i'll just go fight the crowd at the mall since supposedly each Apple store will have a minimum of 500 (don't know how true that is).
