Goggle is not the same- what can I do?

Sure hope someone can tell me how to get rid of this problem.

What has happened to my Google? I have been using Fire Fox for years.

Did I download something I should not have downloaded? The only thing I did was trying to find a way to track an item that I ordered.

The Google I show is not acting at all like it use to. Did I miss some type of upgrade?
Why is that thing there???

Never mind, I just found out what happened. I allowed an extension to plant it's self in my computer. There, won't do that again.
