Going back to iOS9 from 9.1

I'm currently on 9.0 public beta 3, and I am thinking about going to 9.1 beta 1.

I have done a backup in iTunes, but if I go to beta 9.1, will I be able to make a backup from 9.1 and restore it to 9.0 (if I went back to 9.0)?

Hope that makes sense?

Yes. Restore does not replace a complete image of your previous setup, system files an all. It just copies over your settings and media files. So if you did a backup of 9.0b3 and then installed 9.1b1 then restored you will get 9.1b1 with 9.0b3 settings. If you then wanted to fallback to 9.0, you will carry only the settings. The other guy is trolling you for some reason.

You can't restore a backup that's been done on newer iOS version than the one you have on your device.

You can go back to 9.0 on an iOS 9 9.1 and so on!!!! What you can't do is go to a different version of iOS like 8 or 7 unless it was a higher version ie 10.

You can restore your backup from 9.1 to 9.0.... I did it yesterday. What it won't let you do is use that restore on iOS 8 or lower.... You guys should all know this if your developers

I REALLY hope this is true, when I get my iPhone 6S I want to restore from the iOS 9.1 beta backup I've made, I can't be bothered with the future beta testing.

Go and try it on your phone now and then you will know... Worked with me so can't see it not working with the 6s.

I recommend they upgrade to GM before going to 9.1 - they mentioned they're still using a beta of iOS 9 :)
