Inside A Mac Box
Waiting patiently for the news on the upcoming iPhone 13

Any of you aiming for the 13 instead of the mini/pro/max options?

I go full 13 instead of the originally planned 13 mini as the 13 body size is not bigger than my old 6s body that fits everywhere I need to fit it in. The screen is much bigger and it has a full size battery. Many websites are optimised for people using huge phones so I want to avoid having a screen on the very small end (like some 13 mini) for usability reasons just to be sure. I don't watch video or play games on my phone.

I went from 7+ to 12 last year and love the size. While the bigger screen of the 7+ was great when reading books, it just got too big to fit into pockets, purses, and made my hand go numb using it one handed for long.

I have big hands and the 6s feels like the maximum size I can comfortably handle with one hand. The new lower positioned iOS 15 address bar looks like they redesign the phones to be operated with two hands? One holding and one typing?

Once you go max, it’s hard to ever go back.

Should be interesting next year, they’ll be releasing a non pro max version.

Speaking for myself, nope. I’m pretty sure I’ll pick a smaller device next time around.

Um no. For some they have no issues from going from a pro max to a smaller sizs.

Hmmm, the 12 is about 10mm taller and 5mm wider and heavier. So the 13 will be as well

Admittedly the dimensions might be a tiny bit bigger but the overall impression, as far as my trouser and jacket pockets are concerned, are similar enough. I even checked this in an Apple store recently against my current 6s. The 12mini felt smaller than the 6s with the same screen estate, the 12 nonpro like same sized as the 6s but with significantly more screen estate. Add another bit for the bigger battery but I will go full size 13.

I hope it works for you. I had the 6s for 3 years and it was the most comfortable phone.

Running a XS for 2 years its at the edge. Reaching corners is a pain. I tried the XR and 12 a couple of times in store but its just too big.

holding the mini was a pleasure, so thats probably my next phone

I have the 12 mini, and while holding it is indeed a pleasure, the text on so many web sites is tiny and videos don't look as good as with my 11 Pro, so looking to go back to the 13 Pro this year. That's if the refresh rate is improved. Otherwise, may just go to the 13.

I owned the X🅂 max and the 11 pro max and went down to the 12 pro. I even bought the 12 mini first but the freaking pacific blue got me.

I plan on keeping the 13 for at least 3 years so I don’t know if I should go with the 13 pro or the pro max, seeing how big the 12 pro max is I’m kind of hesitant.

I’d go with the 13 pro max, that massive battery it’s getting is going to be amazing. 😳🔋

Hopefully the rumors are true and apple finally release a black iPhone again, time to get rid of the graphite color, a matte black iPhone will look amazing.

That would be awesome.

Jet black and slate gray were my favorite colors ever.

Based on what information?
I've tested each of the 12s and I feel it may be similar with the 13. Balanced battery/features/ portability. Sure, everyone is different. Some want max specs, others prefer the mini. Just saying the 13 is the middle ground.
