Are there folks who upgraded from the ‘18 iPP 11” to the 2020 11” version? If so, do you like or regret the upgrade?

OK, ran finally out of space and got a 2020 version with more storage. While the iPad itself does look the same, it feels ways snappier and I can actually contest the performance on photo editing and (specifically) LumaFusion is significant. I am working on a 360 footage project and LumaFusion cuts through the footage like hot knife through butter. I am impressed!
Battery life feels also better than the 2018. Maybe the processor is just less stressed or indeed more power efficient (I doubt that).
But what really blows me away IS. THAT. CAMERA.! Took a few portrait shots of my little kiddo and the background separation is fantastic. The blur effect works much better. Not sure if they utilize the LIDAR, but it would make sense. Shooting 4K@ 60FPS is a dream. How could I live without it
Why would you shoot with an iPad you may ask. I would counter - why not? If I edit on the iPad anyway, why not use it to shoot? Giant viewfinder, awesome camera and no data copy anymore.
I think applications develop with availability of equipment.

In day to day activity, the increased ram plays when switching between apps.

Overall a worthy upgrade.

I upgraded from an 11in 2018 to a 12.9in 2020 model. My main deciding factor is that, since I finished college, I no longer need the portability > screen real estate. I also wanted the full size magic keyboard.

If it wasn’t for wanting to upgrade size, I would’ve been happy skipping this gen. The increase in ram, storage, microphone, and camera are just bonuses I’m happy to have!
