Going from Fusion to SSD?

Hi
I am about to pull the trigger on the OWC DIY kit to go from hard drive to SSD.

I have a late 2012 iMac 3.4.

Since my iMac has the 1TB Fusion combination ( and not just the spinning drive) is there anything that I need to know in advance in terms of compatibility or the feasibility of the switch from Fusion to SSD?
