Hi guys,

Shortly going on vacation to Mexico from the UK.

I don't want to incur charges unneccesarily, and I want to start thinking about what to temporarily remove, or what to turn off on the iPhone to avoid O2 having a field day with roaming etc....

I would have thought Wireless is not a problem - but I'm asking the question.

Any suggestions for configuration, application removals etc... changes....?

Thanks

:)

Pete

Taking your sim out completely would be the best way to be 100% sure you will only be using wifi data.

Other wise, turn airplane mode on, location services off, data roaming off.

I just went on a Caribbean Cruise and didn't want roaming charges either so I just put mine in Airplane mode. :) As an added precaution, set the Data Roaming option in Settings to OFF.
