Congratulations on the new machine :)

Just curious, what are you going to use the machine for? It is a nice and powerful system you have ordered.

I am going to use it to do Photo/Video editing, and some gaming, but mainly creative stuff. I did do a slight change to the above order, i reduced the ram to 8gb, and will get cheaper 32gb upgrade from crucial, as the prices of apple's Ram is a bit  lol. Also hope to not have to get a new machine for a good few years spending this much for a system :) , my last one lasted along time.

Smart move on the RAM. I'm sure this will last quite a long time. Enjoy your new iMac.

Good choice on the RAM. Might as well put that money towards aftermarket RAM instead. How long time did your last machine last you? The longevity of the machines is also one of the things I like about Macs :)

Must be about 8 years and its still working, albeit slower lol.
When you keep them for that long it is definitely worth putting all that you can into it from the beginning :D Enjoy your new machine when you get it and let your creativity flow

In the end i upgraded the ram from 16 to 32, must say, silent beast of an iMac, and the resolution is mental :)
