Anything special I need to doto my iBook? Should it sleep or Shutdown. Can I leave it in a warm(85 degree) room, or should I keep it near the AC?

If you're only going to be gone for one night, you don't need to do anything special. I'd probably keep it in a cool place, but 85 degrees isn't really too hot, so it shouldn't matter. Sleep is fine (leave it plugged in), but you can shut it down if you want.

That is a very nice offer scem0, how could anyone refuse. :D

Seriously though, agree with Allison, you should just leave it at home. It's better to be safe than sorry. Just go and enjoy yourself. ;)

Are you asking about what to do if you will be leaving your iBook at home without using it for a while, or are you bringing it to camp?

Shut it down, close the lid, and put it somewhere out of direct sun and heat, like a cloest or something...

Do you really thing you could or would keep your iBook in a place that is 113 F or even -13 F. Thats seems a little extreme, and I would think that that wouldnt be good for the 'Book

I don't think that's extreme at all. I leave my laptop in the car ALL THE TIME and it must get at least 120 F in there.

I left my laptop in the car today, and I got SO freaked out. I went back at least 3 times to make sure the car was *REALLY* locked.

..but apple says the temp's cool, so it's all good.
