With the price increase on the 2018 iPad Pro and the total cost including accessories, I’m expecting there to be some buyers remorse by many people.

I am going to wait for open box opportunities and try to save $80-$100.

Anyone else doing this?

Refurbs are another good option and also consider some stores during black friday. You may find a deal then

I'm skipping this gen as I have a recently warranty-replaced 10.5 512GB cellular with 9 months of AC+ left..... but I would wait for refurbs etc if I was going to upgrade but had no urgency

I always do this during holidays in kijiji

Open boxes are a horrible deal, at least with Best Buy.
The $20-30 or so they mark off of retail isn't worth getting a greasy used iPad, in my eyes.

Target does much better but their open box Apple products have all but dried up, at least in my area.

I can't remember the last time I saw an open box iPad at Target.

Amazon would be a great place if they actually sold Apple products.
