iPhone Going Untethered from tethered

Try as I might, I can't find a post dealing with my specific question, so if it exists already just post the link.

That being said, here's my inquiry:
I have an iPhone 4 running iOS 6. It is currently jailbroken under the redsnow break and consequently a tethered break. Given the release of evasion, what do I need to do to switch to an untethered break which is a totally different source? Do I need to restore my phone back to an "unbroken" state? Or do I just run the evasion software process?
