Going Without a Screen Protector

I decided to remove my screen protector. With a Belkin case intact, I feel okay about it. Plus the 'protector' carried major smudges.

I considered invisibleShield, but a co-worker said it's a lint magnet. I watched the BodyGuardz protector application video, and it seems to be more trouble than it's worth.

How will the iPhone look after removing such a tight wrap? Will the dried-up solution discolor it or cause peeling after a long period?
