Anyone know of a good alternative to intelliscreen? I do like it, but the $10 price tag is a bit steep. Thanks in advance!

Get a lockscreen theme. Works as well as Intelli, but free.

Often called LockInfo

I'm using Gruppled LockInfo, and I quite like it. Here's a screen of what mine currently looks like.

Hope you like it

Got it, but nothing shows up in the lock screen. Do you have to build your own theme? Not sure I am THAT smart! ;-)

You can download themes too. It requires Winterboard (by default, I have directions for it without, but if you don't want to build anything go with WB).

To get the theme you are looking at you would have to build it. There are some good themes that I think you can find. Common ones are Gruppled and Matt UI.

Gruppled you have to DL from a website and put in your themes folder manually. Really not that hard and it looks really nice. :D LOTS of tutorials and threads in case you get lost. :D

Or if you see someone with a theme that you like you can kindly ask if they can upload it somewhere as a .zip or .theme file for you to add on your own but to avoid having to edit the theme yourself.

I found Multibar lockscreen, which works! However, I cant seem to find how to adjust weather settings. It's currently on NY!

Intelliscreen is more than worth the $10.

Really? Does it do anything different than the $0 LockInfo? I haven't used Intelliscreen. :p

EDIT: Nevermind. I just googled it. Answer is no. It doesn't do anything different. I have seen LockInfo do everything that Intelliscreen does. :p

Lockinfo requires Winterboard. No thanks.

Look at my Threads. I posted a thread with directions on a Winterboard Free LockInfo. :D

Here you go.

The thing is, it doesn't actually have a "dependency" on Winterboard. It's just set up to use Winterboard for it's themes. All my directions tell you to do is how to install it without Cydia so it doesn't make you install Winterboard and then how to manually theme it with SSH.

Haha lockinfo requires WB? Intelliscreen is terrible and slows down as much or than WB does.

Lockinfo requires Winterboard. No thanks.
IntelliScreen requires Rock Your Phone. No thanks. ;)

IntelliScreen does have a few more features and is more polished in terms of managing your lock screen from the phone itself. However, having been a user of both IntelliScreen and Lock Screen Info, I do prefer Lock Screen Info more as it seems more lightweight, and hey! I'm already running Winteroard for my themes.

On a positive related note, Saurik posted this to twitter the other day:
...I'll also be replacing IntelliScreen.
