Good deal at Best Buy!!!

Just bought a white 1.83 MacBook at Best Buy in Atwater Village in LA. I got 100 bucks off, it's a special from Aug 6 - 12 at any of the Best Buy that sell Macs in LA. Who knew?

Total with tax $1088.

Not too shabby. I can't wait to take it out of the box and put my Dell down. Down, I says...

I'm in Baltimore, MD. I've only been to one Best Buy that had "a" Mac (Mac Mini). It disappeared fast. Now they only have the iPod.

That's a pretty good price. Not quite as good as the education discount, though. $1,049.00

the rebate was instant at the registar. Nice, huh. Yeah, they sell Macs at four stores in LA and my local one was part of the new apple plan. I had a credit, so it was awesome, cheaper than the Apple Store in Glendale and I got it same day.

FYI: best buy stinks to high holy hell.

I still think that amazon's macbook has the best price. 999 after rebate, no tax here in CA. But yeah, at least you dont have to wait for your rebate!
