this computer appears to be running the Penryn architecture - which is 3 generations old now. quite a good deal though

1000$ for that is a terrible deal. It costs 999$ in refurb store. I wouldn't pay more than 700-800$ for that.

if you dont mind paying that much you might as well check out the refurb store, you have a good reassurance its going to work and a warranty if you do
