Hello everyone,

I found the following Macbook Air in the Apple Refurbished Store.

Refurbished 13.3-inch MacBook Air Apple M1 Chip with 8‑Core CPU and 8‑Core GPU - Space Gray

Apple M1 chip
8-core CPU
8-core GPU
16-core Neural Engine
16GB unified memory

Is that a good deal for performance? Thanks :)

Yes, the Apple refurbs are generally a good deal compared to full retail. Not only can you add Applecare+ to it, it has the same one year warranty as new Macs. And the shipping is fast too.

I have an refurb M1 MBA 16/512 silver and it's flawless. The battery had only 2 cycles on it when I received it. What's the storage on the one you're looking at? Also it helps to know what machine you're currently using and what kinds of things you might want to use the MBA to do.

On mine I run Logic Pro, Final Cut Pro and Blender, all with no issues. I'm not creating huge files but it's working very well. I love having 16GB RAM.

Assuming OP is in the US, a 8/8/16/512GB M1 MBA is $1229, 1TB drive, $1399, and 2TB $1739.
