Hi I am new to mac and bought a mid 2010 Macbook. I am trying to find some casual free mmos that will work on os x so I don't have to bootcamp. Does anyone have any good ones that they know of/have played?

Good free MMO's that will work on mac?

Second Life is not a MMORPG... its not a game. There are some games people have made in it, but its just a big virtual world made to be a platform for people to make what they want and share it.
Second Life is an outstanding social networking program, but it's not what I would call a MMO as in MMORPG. Primarily it's an online hang out site where you can socialize, while away your time playing basic games, build a virtual house, make real money selling virtual items, and even have virtual sex if you want to. Maybe it's changed a little bit, but several years ago I looked into the games and they were nothing to write home about. They are gaming spaces with no where near the sophistication of stand alone games. Technically it is MPO- Massive People Online site.
As far as good free MMOs that run natively on Mac, I know of none. I keep my eye out for them. Most of the free ones, try to draw you into to paying them for something within the game to keep you competitive. I've not played any cause I've not seen any that lured me.
I considered DDO (Dungeons & Dragons Online- PC) but it is mostly instanced space. I think I heard LOTRO (Lord of the Rings Online) was going free, but that is PC too.
