I have a 60GB Macbook HD lying around and I want to use it for storage, so I'm looking for a good enclosure. Does anyone have any recommendations? It can be either USB and/or Firewire and not too expensive. :) Thanks.

I wish I had an answer, but might I suggest modifying the title of your post by adding HD enclosure and eliminating MB. It might attract more people who have relevant comments for you. Good luck.

these are your options from newegg, FW is pretty hard to find on the portables to be honest.

OWC has a few choices too. (you need a 2.5" SATA enclosure)

here is another

Macally 2.5" HD enclosure - SATA also from newegg. Actually, it is the one I bought. It works find, but it does need 2 cables, one for data, one for power, so it used both USB ports on the MB.

Firewire would have been my first choice as it is faster on a Mac and needs only one cable. Unfortunately, FW enclosures for 2.5" SATA drives are considerably more expensive if you can even find one.
